The Clans are pillars of the Yangtze Guild. They make up 20% of the Guild's infrastructure, resources, and manpower alone. Without the clans, the Yangtze Guild ceases to function. These clans hold tremendous sway over the entire Corporation and any major decision to be decided must have the unanimous agreement of all the Clans. Any member of the guild that joins one of these clans are considered of high status and regarded with distinction within their clan. Every Clan is lead by a Clan Lord. These Lords are head representatives of their clans and determine their stance on political subjects and which direction the Guild should flow.
Currently there are 2 distinctive types of clans.
- Origin Clans were the founders of the Yangtze Guild and are thus regarded as Royalty within the Corporation.
- Proto-Clans are clans created after the founding of the Guild and while they aren't equals to the Origin Clans, they are recognized and propagated by the Origin Clans, Proto-Clans founded are usually created from Corporate Personnel who reached the highest achievement or status of their time.
